Signal Processing and Software Analysis

The Signal Processing and Software Analysis course is aimed at maintenance engineers who have already completed the Diagnostic Vibration Monitoring course or have an understanding of diagnostic vibration and FFT analysis.

The 2 day course is held in Scarborough on the North Yorkshire coast and will give engineers a more advanced understanding of diagnostic vibration analysis. This will enable maintenance engineers and plant managers to perform more accurate fault and diagnostic problem solving.

Signal ProcessingThe Signal Processing and Software Analysis course takes a more detailed look at advanced signal processing techniques and how software can be used to facilitate analysis. After completion of the course you will be fully conversant with the main methods of carrying out advanced diagnostic vibration analysis.

The objectives of the course highlight the principles of signal processing and build on the fundamentals of vibration. You will also learn about:

  • Detailed signal processing techniques
  • How to use software analysis packages
  • Develop a deeper knowledge of diagnostic analysis

Like other Castle Training Academy courses there is a mix of teaching and hands-on use of instruments and analysis tools to ensure you fully understand signal processing and software analysis.

Completing the course will ensure you understand the principles of diagnostic vibration analysis and signal processing to carry out more accurate fault diagnosis.

This course is also geared to the use of software tools for diagnostic analysis. This follows a more in-depth session on signal processing techniques, which gives the knowledge required to get the most from software packages.
